Martes Working Group
I have been an active member of the Martes Working Group since 2017. The goal of the MWG is to "facilitate communication among scientists with a common interest in Martes research, conservation, and management" working at an international level to further conservation goals. I was privileged enough to be able to attend the 8th International Martes Symposium this past fall in Aviemore, Scotland engage one-on-one with the top researchers and conservationists working to preserve fisher, wolverine, tayra and marten species across the globe.
Methods and Monitoring GroupThe purpose of this working group within the MWG is to evaluate and synthesize methods used to study the Martes complex, create a set of best practices for developing monitoring programs, and to promote collaborative research that furthers our understanding of these methods and facilitates range-wide data coherence.

The Wildlife SocietyI first became involved with The Wildlife Society (TWS) in 2014 when I joined the Student Chapter at my undergraduate institution, California University of Pennsylvania. Since then I have become increasingly involved in TWS at numerous organization levels, including the Pennsylvania Chapter, Northeast Section, Student Development Working Group (SDWG), Early Career Professionals Working Group (ECPWG), Hunting, Trapping, and Conservation Working Group, and Council.
