    Collared Fisher Report Line

If you've seen a fisher in Rhode Island or Connecticut with a collar on, we'd love to hear where and when you spotted it! This information helps our crew relocate our animals so we can collect valuable data off of the collars. Each collar has a unique identifier written in two locations, so if you happen to get a good look at the collar (via trail camera or binoculars), please include any symbols or letters you may have seen in your description below. Please do not approach wild animals to get a "better view", if you cannot see the collar symbols that is alright! Give the animal space and allow it to continue on its natural way.

Please only fill out the sighting report if the fisher you saw had a collar/tags.

This form is for fisher only (please do not submit sightings of other animals), and please do not submit general fisher sightings of fisher without tags/collars unless it is a roadkill fisher in Rhode Island. Thank you for your understanding!!
Please only fill out this survey for fisher with tags or collars - general sightings are not being collected for this study. Thank you!
If you would like to share your contact information with us in case we have further questions, please do so below.
